Bond in a number of Eastern European locations including the Orient Express. The SPECTRE organisation in the persons of Ernst Stavro Blofeld and Rosa Klebb plan to steal a Russian 'Lektor' cipher machine, directing the blame towards the British Secret Service before selling it back to the Russians for a fabulous price.

On the way they also intend to eliminate James Bond with the help of their delectable, specially-trained agent Tatiana, but 007 has other ideas on that
score and Klebb is the one ultimately on the receiving end while Blofeld escapes.
