All does not go according to plan after a double agent feeds false information into the unfortunate machine.

The professor tries to circumvent this by creating another giant moth as a companion for her only to find that it has a similar appetite. Peter Cushing leads the team of detectives trying to solve the plentiful and strange murders which result in their activities.

The pilot and navigator manage to get ashore safely and alert the authorities. Boom time arrives for the locals as the island is suddenly inundated with tourists who happen to be a NATO recovery team and scientists in disguise. The plane was not only carrying two H-bombs but also a new kind of biological weapon which soon subdues the joy of the locals at their new-found wealth when the sea turns black and dead fish float to the surface. It's not long before they, too, start contracting the strange, lethal viral infection.

	Dos Cosmonautas A La Fuerza (002 Operation Moon) Aggata Films / Ima Films Lucio Fulci Franco Franchi, Ciccio Ingrassia, Emilio Rodriguez, Monica Randal Maria Silva, Linda Sini, Chiro Bermejo Allegedly a comedy film, in which a couple of Russian cosmonauts on a lunar mission lose contact with Earth and are believed to be lost in space. To save face the Russians plan a cover-up operation by sending two more cosmonauts up for a short trip, intending to welcome them back as the lunar heroes. All does not go quite according to plan as the original two are inconsiderate enough to show up again and they all arrive back on Earth at the same time.

Kuryakin and Solo are despatched to avert the potential disaster and come up against Luther Sebastian's THIRD WAY group, a THRUSH alternative with similar world domination objectives. More U.N.C.L.E. hardware is seen in this film than previously including a sea-going sequence with torpedo boats and ends up with the timely destruction of the thermal prism seconds after its ICBM launch.

The twist is in the fact that Viktor himself is the monster, a creation of the college's professor of computer studies.

This time around, an all-female criminal organisation ( whose HQ is in the Virgin Islands - where else? ) swap members of their team for the American astronauts aboard a space station and proceed to construct a nuclear missile platform with which they intend to threaten the world with their demands for global domination.
	Perry Rhodan - SOS Aus Dem Weltall ( Alarm Im Weltall ) ( Quatro Tre Due Uno Morte ) Based on the Perry Rhodan books by Walter Enstine Tefi Film / PEA / Attor Film Primo Zeglio Lang Jeffries, Essy Persson, Joachim Hansen, Ann Smyrner, Luis Davila Daniele Martin, Pinkas Braun, Stefano Sibaldi Perry Rhodan and some of his pals come to Earth to sort out the evil doings of super-criminals and decidedly dodgy politicians.
	The President's Analyst Panpiper / Paramount Theodore J. Flicker James Coburn, Godfrey Cambridge, Severn Darden, Joan Delaney Pat Harrington, Barry McGuire, Will Geer Another tongue-in-cheek spy spoof, but better quality than most. A psychoanalyst suffers from a breakdown due to having to listen to the American president's problems. His phone is tapped, his home bugged and his girlfriend is an FBI agent. He 'gets away from it all' by going to live with an 'ordinary' family for a while. It turns out to be an unfortunate choice as the family's mum takes unarmed combat lessons, dad has a penchant for collecting all types of guns and their offspring is a whizz at wire-tapping. He ends up being investigated by the FBI, the CIA and the Chinese and Russian intelligence services. In the finale he finds out the real power behind the American presidency - it is 'The Telephone Company' who operate an army of robots programmed to take over the world by planting miniature phone-like devices in everybody's brains.

	The Unknown Man Of Shandigor ( L'Inconnu De Shandigor ) Frajea Films Jean-Louis Roy Marie-France Boyer, Ben Carruthers, Daniel Emilfork, Howard Vernon Jacques Dufilho, Serge Gainsbourg It's another pseudo-Bond film in which an evil scientist discovers a method of neutralising atomic weapons. This marks him out for particular attention from Russian and American secret agents. He also has a strange pet, a sea monster, which he keeps in a pool and which has the pleasure of devouring him at the end of the film.
	Monster Wangmagwi ( Wang Ma Gwi ) Century Co. Hyukjin Kwon Kungwon Nam, Haekyung Kim, Unjin Hahn, Hikap Kim This first all-Korean sci-fi film features a giant monster, which is sent to Earth to soften us up in readiness for an alien invasion fleet of flying saucers. The creature breathes a kind of 'death ray' which destroys Seoul, but not before it has received a good stomping, in the best traditions of Kaiju Eiga.
	The Wishing Machine ( Automat Na Prani ) Studio Gottwaldow Josef Pinkava Vit Weingaertner, Josef Hlinomaz, Miloslav Holub, Rudolf Deyl Jr. Karel Effa, Jana Rendlova, Marketa Rauschgoldova The film opens with two boys who have skipped school to visit a fair with exhibits on new and future technology. Having sneaked in among the crowds they come across 'The Wishing Machine' exhibit and see glimpses of the machine's powers in various scenarios. The film follows the two boys as they save up money to use the machine themselves. Eventually, when they do, they wish for a trip to the moon. They suddenly find themselves in space suits, sitting in the capsule of a rocket about to take off, when they discover that the machine is only planning to send them one way as they only wished to go to the moon, but did not mention wanting to come back! The boys spend much of the film on a hunt for "something very beautiful" to get their ride converted to a round trip and get the machine to 'cancel' the wish when they give it one of their prized possessions. The film is made in a gentle and humorous way with a hint of "be careful what you wish for... you might just get it" but the main theme seems to be about a child's concept of beauty with lots of magical shots of bubbles, kaleidoscopic effects and plants, making the point that there is beauty all around to look at. An English version was scripted and produced by Robert Braverman in 1971. ( thanks to Andrew Walsh and others for correcting and adding to this synopsis )
	You Only Live Twice Based on the novel by Ian Fleming Eon / Danjaq Lewis Gilbert Sean Connery, Akiko Wakabayashi, Mie Hama, Tsai Chin, Lois Maxwell, Bernard Lee Desmond Llewelyn, Tetsuro Tamba, Karin Dor, Charles Gray, Donald Pleasence Teru Shimada, Alexander Knox, Robert Hutton, Bert Kwouk, Michael Chow Ernst Stavro Blofeld is back with a missile installation hidden inside the false crater of a volcano. 007 discovers the location with the help of the gorgeous Mie Hama and storms the launch site with a team of trained Ninja warriors before finally destroying the enemy missile with only seconds to spare before launch. His troubles aren't over though as the place starts blowing up and disintegrating around him. In the confusion, Blofeld escapes again.
	They Came From Beyond Space Based on the Joseph Millard novel 'The Gods Hate Kansas' Amicus Freddie Francis Robert Hutton, Jennifer Jayne, Zia Mohyeddin, Bernard Kay, Michael Gough Geoffrey Wallace A meteorite shower brings with it a horde of incarnate alien invaders who start to round up Earthlings, taking over their bodies and transporting them to the moon where they are forced to work on the aliens' crippled space fleet. A scientist rescues his girlfriend from the aliens and eventually goes on to make friendly contact with them.
	The Doomsday Machine ( Escape From Planet Earth ) ( Armageddon ) First Leisure Harry Hope and Lee Sholem Grant Williams, Henry Wilcoxon, Ann Grant, Mala Powers, Stuart J. Byrne Janus Craig, Mike Farrell A venus-bound colony ship learns that Earth has been devastated by nuclear weapons. It returns to Earth to sweep up, turn off the lights and repopulate the planet, though not necessarily in that order.
	Journey To The Center Of Time ( Time Warp ) Ember / Flamingo / Borealis-Dorad David Hewitt Scott Brady, Gigi Perreau, Anthony Eisley, Abraham Sofaer, Poupee Gamin Scientists accidentally send themselves to 5000 AD into the middle of a war with aliens. As if that isn't bad enough, they then get taken back to one million BC where they get attacked by prehistoric monsters. Wonder if they bumped into Raquel Welch……

	Mission Stardust ( You Only Live Once ) ( Orbito Mortal ) Based on the novels by Walter Enstine Aitor / PEA / Theumer Primo Zeglio Lang Jeffries, Essy Persson, Luis Davila, Daniel Martin Gianni Rizzo, John Karelson This is the sequel to the first Perry Rhodan film. Perry joins a space expedition which is forced into a moon landing. They discover that the cause of this is the telepathic powers of two aliens in a spaceship who are members of a dying race. Their robots have gone out of control and they are rescued by the expedition who take them back to Earth to find a cure for the disease which is threatening life on their planet.
	Rocket To The Moon ( Blast Off ) ( Those Fantastic Flying Fools ) Based on the book by Jules Verne AIP Don Sharp Gert Frobe, Klaus Kinski, Jimmy Clitheroe, Judy Cornwell, Terry-Thomas Daliah Lavi, Lionel Jeffries, Burl Ives, Troy Donahue, Hermione Gingold Circus man Phineas T.Barnum and pals try to put a rocket on the moon by blasting it out of a huge cannon built into the side of a Welsh mountain. Multi-skilled in plastic surgery, lip-reading and hypnotism he finds his talents come in conveniently handy.
