These are some questions or requests mailed to me that I can't easily answer. Hopefully there will be someone
out there who can help! If so, please let me know and I will pass the information on to the requester.

Personally, I would be grateful if anyone can supply me with pictures of
the old Colney Heath Junior School and the Chequers cinema in St. Albans.

I am doing some research on Dickey Pride ( Richard Kneller). If anyone has information, stories etc. I would be very pleased to hear from them.

Lee Taylor, who was one of the broadcasters on the Sixties pirate radio station 'Radio Invicta' is searching for any recordings of any of his broadcasts from those halcyon days. Does anyone have anything they may be able to let him have a copy of? Please respond to Lee here

Hi, I hope you can help me. I was (and still am) in a band in the sixties called Sons and Lovers, and we topped the Israeli charts in 1969 with "Happiness is Love". The Beatles were No.1 with Oh Bla Di Oh Bla Dah and we knocked it off the top spot. Do you have any record of this or could you tell me where I can find this info?
Please respond to Mick here

Remember Green Shield stamps? Well Co-op used to have blue ones but there were also some black and white ones. Anyone remember who did them? Possibly only South-East England - Herts?
Stephen writes: For years I have tried to find out what the 'closedown' theme was for Radio Caroline North ( As I recall it used to close down 10:30p.m. maybe 11:00 p.m.). Some sources feel that it is Jimmy McGriff's 'Round Midnight' but it doesn't sound like it to me. Do you know, or have you any other suggestions as to what it may have been if not this?
Paul writes:
" Oh memories, I wouldn’t go to sleep until I had heard Bob Stewart’s closedown announcement every night, Loved the closedown sequence and the groovy organ playout, I have tried to obtain it for many years but I’m unsure what it is, I too have been told it’s ‘Round Midnight’ but I’m not so sure, I reckon it’s a track called ‘Ballad on the beach’ by Andre Brasseur on Polydor records"
Any more offers?

I get many requests for instructions on how to the Sixties dances listed on my dance pages. I have limited information, but if you can help with instructions or illustrations, even links for any of them, I'd love to hear from you.
