THE GOLDEN ROSE OF MONTREUX
Founded
by Marcel Bezançon, this was first held in 1961 and is an annual international
TV light entertainment contest.
The Silver Rose is awarded to the best three programmes - the best
of these three is awarded The Golden Rose.
